How to make desktop.ini invisible on Windows 7?

With any folder window open click Organize in the upper left corner. Click Folder And Search Options. Click the View Tab. About halfway down check Do Not Show Hidden Files, Folders, Or Drives. Click Apply and OK. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
