I can't find any .ini files for mass effect?

I downloaded mass effect from direct2download.com with the explicit purpose of cheating. To cheat I am supposed to go into the configuration folder and edit the BIOinput.ini, only problem is there are no ini files I can find on mass effect. Do downloaded games not have ini files or something.
